There’s always so much to do during Applefest! You’re probably looking to get the most out of the festival’s food, arts and crafts, live music, performances, or maybe you’re planning to get the most out of the Franklin area during a weekend stay. In any case, we have you covered.

Applefest Lodging: Where to Stay in the Area
Getting into Town and Finding Parking
We have a handy map pack that you can print out, bookmark, or download to your mobile phone. There are several large parking lots close to the festival as well as shuttles that run on Saturday and Sunday. Most people opt to park several blocks out and walk, however it’s possible to get lucky.
Quick tip: If you can parallel park – you won’t have to walk as far! Here’s a video (link) on parallel parking if you need a refresher. Practice makes perfect!

Applefest Food & Dining Options
Trust us, show up hungry! It’s going to be very tempting to run to the first food vendor you see, but we suggest strolling up and down. There’s a good chance that your favorite food is being cooked right around the corner by a seasoned pro. There will be plenty of tents with sweets and desserts, as well as the Farmer’s Market.

Must-See Applefest Attractions
We admit that while Applefest is the “Three Best Days”, it also isn’t the only reason people love the Franklin area. Seeing family and catching up with old friends is often the favorite part of the weekend. When the vendor tents close, there’s still plenty of amazing fun to be had! Go out and see what Franklin and Venango Count have to offer!

Navigating the Festival
Check out the official Applefest map online to familiarize yourself with the layout, including key locations like the food court, vendor stalls, and music stage. It’s easy to forget how big the parks are, and while wandering is fun, it can be tiring. If you do plan to go with the flow and explore freely, make sure you hydrate!
